April 8th, 7:30 PM: Our Monthly Community Meeting held at the DMFD FIRE STATION ADMIN COMMUNITY ROOM, 43814 N. NEW RIVER RD. We have a lot to share:

  • Guest speakers will be Linda & Ray Philbin of the After the Homestretch speaking about rescue animal issues.
  • Welcome and congratulations to our new Secretary Annette Esposito and Director Julie Wilkinson!! We are excited to have them join Terry Marron, Kara Knorr, Jerry Knorr, Teri Conrad, and myself for another productive year helping our community retain its rural lifestyle.

Our Friday, April 11th Town Hall with Area Government Speaker starts at 9 AM at a NEW LOCATION - Anthem Civic Building, 3701 Anthem Way, Anthem 85086. NRDHCA, the meeting sponsor, has planned these meetings for the 2nd Friday of each month throughout the year. We have speakers from the State, County and City of Phoenix. We thank the Anthem Community Council for arranging the Civic Building room for the entire year of 2014. You will find an announcement on our website, newsletter and other local newspaper/media on a monthly basis prior to each meeting. NR/DHCA goal is to encourage government transparency and community participation.

On April 22nd at 6:30 PM a Candidates Forum for State officials that may be on the August 26, 2014 primaries will be held at the Anthem Civic Building. This is a combined effort between Anthem and NRDHCA for the public to attend. This is one of two events to help you get to know the candidates that we will have this year.
